1: Damage in shipment is not the responsibility of MacKing.co.uk, it is the responsibility of the sender to ensure that the Mac is suitably packaged for shipment and will not be damaged. Any damaged, irreparable goods will be returned to the sender.

2: We offer a packaging supply service at £25+VAT including shipping.

3: 90 Day parts warranty on all work carried out is standard. An example of this is as follows. iBook G4 with faulty logic board and memory has logic board and memory replaced. If, within 90 days of repair, either of the two aforementioned parts is found to be faulty, it can be returned to us and we will diagnose the problem free of charge. The parts will be replaced free of charge including labour. We require you to send the mac to us. Any other faults not linked to Logic Board/Memory are not covered by the warranty. MACCOLL MEDIA LTD MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, REGARDING SUCH MATERIALS AND MACCOLL MEDIA LTD DISCLAIMS AND NEGATES ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES REGARDING SUCH MATERIALS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OR OTHER VIOLATION OF RIGHTS. 5: Any physical damage such as scratches, dents, digs in the units casing are not the responsibility of MacKing, regardless if claimed not to be there before being repaired.

6: Cancellation of a MacKing repair is perfectly acceptable, however a charge of £50 plus VAT to return the item to sender will be required. This is to cover the hour of labour used to diagnose the fault and to cover shipping costs both ways. If the repair service is cancelled after a mac is picked up, the money is non refundable. If it is cancelled before we book the collection, you will be refunded in full. Once the collection has been booked there is a minimum charge of £25+VAT.

7: Payment for repair works must be taken in advance of the repair. Simply add Tier 1, 2 or 3 repair options to your cart.

8: Data Recovery is a non-guaranteed means of recovering data from damaged or inaccessible drives. This service is charged at £50+VAT per hard drive. If a new hard drive is required, this will be added to the quote or you will need to provide one. We use specialist software to attempt data recovery. In most cases we will advise whether or not we can recover the data on the hard drive before we charge. All data recovery transactions are charged independently of any other work carried out on your computer. We cannot guarantee that all/any data is recovered. To use the data recovery service, you will need to purchase an external hard drive from us, provide suitable backup media with your computer when it is sent in for repair or agree before your computer is sent to us where you the data should be recovered to. MacKing is not responsible for safeguarding your data against loss or damage while it is in our possession. If you have vital data which you require, you must back it up to a suitable medium before sending us your mac. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of data, and thus cannot be held liable for any loss of work, earnings, profits or business interruption. By agreeing to send us your mac, you are accepting these terms and conditions.
