We stock genuine major parts for all Apple MacBook Pro 15" A1398 (Mid 2014) models. The Retina model features an all in one clam shell display that must be replaced as a single whole unit. We would not recommend attempting to replace component parts.

Order and fit yourself or take advantage of our Apple Certified Mac Technician MacKing Repairs carried out in house and gain a 6 month warranty as well. Please note - logic boards must be fitted by us at a cost including exchange of the existing part, or purchased by approved trade clients only on an exchange basis. We will not supply logic boards unless these requirements are met.

The MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.5 15-Inch (Dual Graphics - Mid-2014 Retina Display) features a 22 nm "Haswell/Crystalwell" 2.5 GHz Intel "Core i7" processor (4870HQ), with four independent processor "cores" on a single silicon chip. It also has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam and a high-resolution LED-backlit 15.4" widescreen 2880x1800 (220 ppi) "Retina" display in a case that weighs just less than 4.5 pounds (2.02 kg). It does not have an internal optical drive.
